Gi Enters Data Into Aga Cds Tool: Icolon Goes Live

A colonoscopy revealed an adenoma in a patient's colon. The GI specialist received the pathology results and entered the data into an AGA CDS tool to determine the recommended surveillance interval. The GI then generated a universal letter communicating the results, risk status, and recommended surveillance interval based on the AGA CDS risk stratification. This letter was sent to the patient via their patient portal and regular mail, and was also emailed to the patient's PCP.
