WHEREAS the Statute 483-A and 483-B was repealed and revised Rules &
Regulations to that effect regarding Examination fees and remuneration to the faculty and
staff engaged in. examination work += was_-—saccepted ~—vide
VCDNo.Exam.VCD/DBOEE/ICD/2017-18/325 dated 24" July, 2017.
AND
WHEREAS considering the subsequent requests of the students regarding
reconsideration of the revision of examination fees for various UG and PG
programmes(Annexed and mentioned at Chapter 2, clause 3.15 (Sr.No.5 & 6) of VCD
dated 24" July, 2017) the Committee was constituted to look into the matter.
AND
WHEREAS considering the recommendations of the Committee the Academic
Council at its meeting held on 11" December, 2017 vide item No.7.1 has considered the
recommendations and also considering the various facts and benefit of students suggested
the reduction in the examination fees as per Annexure, which was subsequently accepted
by the Management Council at its meeting held on 11" January, 2018 vide item No.4.
AND
WHEREAS there is no time available to approach the Competent Authority for
implementing resolution passed by the Management Council considering the fact that
process of accepting forms of first half examinations of 2018 has to complete as per
schedule.
Therefore, I, Prof. (Dr.) Devanand Shinde, Vice-Chancellor (Ag.), University of
‘Mumbai in exercise of powers conferred upon me under Sub Section (8) of Section 12 of
the Maharasthra Public Universities Act, 2016 hereby accept the resolution of the
Management Council and revise the Examination fees as per enclosed Annexure and the
same will be implemented from the first half of examinations 2018.
