DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES
Department of Mathematics and Applied Sciences (MASC) established in 2002 and it supports other academic de-
partments in MEC. Department Objective are: To equip students with the basic concepts and techniques in Math,
Statistics and Physics in order to promote critical thinking and develop analytical abilities. To help students with their
preparation for modules involving Math, Statistics and Physics. To encourage students to become competent in the
use of mathematical software as an effective tool for computation and modelling. To motivate students to partici-
