T- shows some pictures of the Story Hansel and Gretel


- asks the class if they know what story is it
- asks the class a few questions about the pictures
- asks the students to put the picture in the right order and to try to tell something about
the pictures
S-in groups do these
T-asks some students to present the story in front of the class

ACTIVITY 1 : TIME:
INTERACTION: individually

T- shows the class the animated version of “Fractured fairy tale Hansel and Gretel”
- pauses the animation at different stages and asks the children what they predict it will
happen next in this version
S - listen the story and try to predict what will happen in the story
T- gives the children a handout with some questions on it
S- in pairs try to answer these questions
T- elicits some answers

ACTIVITY 2: TIME:
INTERACTION:

T- shows/draws some emoticons on the table. Asks the children what they represent.
-asks the children to tell her some situations when they felt: HAPPY, WORRIED,
SCARED, EXCITED, SAD
- tells the students, that in pairs they will receive some handouts where they have to
mach the feelings with the situations.
