SCENARIO 1 ITEM 1
Management of solid waste is presently a major concern for Governments of
the Caribbean countries. It presents a threat to the health and well being of
the people.
ITEM 1
Develop a teaching plan to educate householders about measures, which
they can implement in order to assist with solid waste management in the
community.

SCENARIO 2 ITEM 2
Staff Nurse Ally has been asked to deputize for the ward sister of the male
surgical ward, who is on six weeks sick leave. The mission and goals of the
ward have been explained by Matron. During the first week of her
assignment she became aware of problems in interpersonal relationships
among staff because of the methods, which were used in staff assignment
and scheduling of duty roster.

SCENARIO 4 ITEM 4

Mr. Brandon age 79, a resident at the senior citizens home, was admitted to a
medical ward in the general hospital. Assessment reveals that he experienced
shortness of breath, dyspnea, productive cough and activity intolerance. He
also experienced difficulty with eating and sleeping. Mr. Brandon who is a
chronic smoker has been diagnosed as having Chronic Airflow limitation
formally called COPD.
