What We Are Assessing
1.0 SERVER OVERVIEW
Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) policies are reviewed and determined to be sufficient or inadequate.
Identifying that correct server policies are employed is important in determining a reliable and robust environment.


2.0 DATABASE OVERVIEW
The assessment is used to determine whether data assurance levels are Not Implemented (non-existent), Best Practice (Optimized),
or somewhere in between. The assessment will identify Database performance bottlenecks that can significantly impact business
processes. Maintaining optimal and real-time database performance is vital for mission-critical applications.

3.0 BACKUP OVERVIEW


Currently your database may not be recoverable. Internal or external backup and recovery problems may prevent your vital data from
being accessed from an outage or disaster.

4.0 MONITORING
The database is the central repository for critical information in your organization, it must always be available. Monitoring tools and
alerting process are critical in ensuring a rapid and appropriate response.

5.0 SECURITY
Database protection is the last line of defence. Once breached, sensitive data is available to intruders. Reliable data safeguards are
essential. The assessment evaluates the database safeguards of the environment and whether the policies employed are sufficient.

6.0 PERFORMANCE
The assessment will identify Database performance bottlenecks that can significantly impact business process. Maintaining optimal
and real-time database performance is vital for mission-critical applications.
