The District grading scale as applied to points earned by the end of a grading period is as
follows:
A - 100 to 93

D- 74 to 70
a) All tests and project grades will count twice, while daily work and homework is only
entered into the grade book once.
b) All students do not learn the same way, or on the same day. I do Not offer extra
credit, but students will have the option to ask me for an additional opportunity to
demonstrate their mastery of a concept previously evaluated. Re-testing will be offered
before or after school as scheduled with the teacher on 2 tests during the semester. The
test may not be the same as the original but it will evaluate the same skills or
knowledge. If the student demonstrates a higher level of mastery, the higher grade will
replace the original test grade. Students must ask for a re-test within 10 days of the
original test.
