PDP Professional Development Plan

The document is a teacher's professional development plan. It outlines two areas for development based on feedback from a prior evaluation: classroom management after activities and supporting student communication. For classroom management, the teacher aims to assess learning objectives and keep students managed. Their action plan is to observe how a mentor assesses students, research classroom management after activities, and provide structured transitions. For communication, the goal is improving social skills. The action plan includes group work, giving students opportunities to share opinions and ideas to develop vocabulary and self-motivation. The teacher will reflect on progress towards these goals.

After the Task - Reflection

Reflect upon your progress towards your goals.

Before starting the lesson teacher should plan and organize her ideas by making a lesson plan that include all the learning objectives that

need to be achieved during the lesson. Preparing learning objectives before we start the lesson can provide the teacher with self-esteem,

class time management and create clear process during the lesson (Pang, 2016). However, according to my experiences as a student

teacher, I believe that the teacher should use clear and useful learning objectives to achieve the lesson goals so, I was preparing my lesson

plans before two days to discuss it with my MST. Further, in my bravoes practicum one of my MST recommendation was to focus on the

classroom management after activities so this time I choose to use the points technique to encourage students and manage the classroom

Moreover, I choose to focus on supporting communication skills between the students because this can provide students with more

vocabulary and knowledge in the classroom this also, can develop students self-motivation and develop their social skills (Bakhurst, 2015).
