Kochi Metro Rail Limited is offering a one-year training program for recent engineering, non-engineering, diploma, and ITI graduates. The program will provide on-the-job training in various positions like electrical, mechanical, civil, and IT. Upon completion of the one-year training, trainees will receive a service certificate but the training does not guarantee employment with KMRL. KMRL TRAINING SCHEME FOR

ENGINEERING/NON ENGINEERING GRADUATES/DIPLOMA & ITI QUALIFIED CANDIDATES

1. Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) a joint venture of Govt. of India & Govt. of Kerala plans to provide
training opportunities to the fresh pass outs under its KMRL TRAINING SCHEME FOR ENGINEERING/NON
ENGINEERING GRADUATES/DIPLOMA & ITI QUALIFIED CANDIDATES as detailed below.

2. Who Can Apply: The scheme would be open to brilliant students in the age group of 18-25 years and
who have passed ENGINEERING/NON ENGINEERING DEGREE/DIPLOMA/ITI in the streams mentioned
below and passed out not earlier than 2014. The Candidates who had secured minimum 60% marks in the
qualifying examinations will only be eligible to apply.

3. The number of candidates to be trained this year in each trade/discipline is as under:-

4. The candidates selected for training will be paid stipend as under:


Trade / Discipline Stipend (all inclusive)
Engineering Graduates 10,000/- per month
Non Engineering Graduates 10,000/- per month
Diploma Holders 7,500/- per month
ITI Holders 5,000/- per month

5. The selected candidates will undergo one year on the job training in KMRL. Upon the completion of the
one year training period, the candidates will be given a service certificate and will be discharged from the
training. In the event of discontinuation during the middle of the training period, no service certificate will
be issued to the candidate under any circumstances. The selection will be based on the marks secured in
the qualifying examinations/test/interview.

General Conditions:-

In no case the candidates undergoing training/completed training, will have the right to claim
permanency on the job at KMRL.
The number of candidates proposed to be trained as shown above is tentative and may undergo
change.
Management reserves the right to cancel this notification at any of the stages.
Acceptance or rejection of application of the candidates to be trained will be at the sole discretion
of the Management. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
A recent photograph and signature of the candidate are to be uploaded.
Verification of credentials such as age, qualification, caste etc. will be done at the time of
selection.

The last date for receipt of applications in KMRL is 25-Nov-2016.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

CANDIDATES MAY PLEASE NOTE THAT UNDERGOING TRAINING UNDER THIS SCHEME WILL NOT
CONFER ANY RIGHT OR PREFERNCE IN EMPLOYMENT IN KMRL.
