On-Line Resources Information

All students at Southeastern are assigned student accounts/usernames for CampusConnect, student email accounts,
Blackboard, and student logins at computer labs. The following information will help you access each of these.

CampusConnect
CampusConnect will provide you with a variety of information and services including enrolling in classes, checking
course availability, viewing/accepting financial aid awards, paying tuition and fees, updating your contact information and
major/advisor, and viewing your unofficial transcript, grades and schedule.

To log into CampusConnect, you may use either your social security number (no dashes) or your SE student ID number.
Your initial password is your birthday in MMDDYYYY format.

You may log into the CampusConnect from the Southeastern home page at www.SE.edu under the System Login option.
Once in the system, you will see a page listing all of your usernames and log in information. This information will appear
each time you log into CampusConnect.

SE Student E-mail
As a Southeastern student, you will be given a student email account. It is important that you use this email so that you
will receive important student announcements and notification of special events on campus. Your Southeastern student e-
mail address will be in the following format:

(First Name Initial)(Last Name)(Last 2-digits of Student ID)@student.SE.edu

Your initial password is your birthday in MMDDYYYY format.

You may log into the student email from the Southeastern home page at www.SE.edu under the System Login option.
Your user ID is the first part of your student email before the @. Your email account may not be setup until you are
officially enrolled and/or your first semester at Southeastern has begun. You may forward this e-mail to a different email
address.

Lab Computers / Student Network

Your initial password is your birthday in MMDDYYYY format.

Blackboard
If you are enrolled in any online/internet courses, you will need to access Blackboard, our online course management
system. Even if your course is not online, you instructor may require you to access Bb on occasion.

Your Blackboard username will be in the following format:

(First Name Initial)(Last Name)(Last 2-digits of Student ID)

Your initial password is your birthday in MMDDYYYY format. You may log into Blackboard from the Southeastern
home page at www.SE.edu under the System Login option.

 New Student Resources

CAMPUS CONNECT

Every student at Southeastern has a CampusConnect account. CampusConnect is a valuable resource for information. In
CampusConnect, you will have access to the following:

SE Email Account SE email is the primary method of contact for many University services. It is important to
check this email account often or forward it to your primary email account so you dont miss important deadlines
or information.
SE Blackboard Account Many of your SE classes will require Blackboard (Bb), an online course management/
learning system, at some time or another to view your course syllabus, assignments, tests, etc. In addition to
academics, Bb is also used for various campus activities such as voting for student government representatives/
homecoming court, student announcements, and much more.
Student Billing Account Beginning Spring 2012, all students will be required to access their Statement of
Account (tuition bill) in CampusConnect instead of receiving one by mail.
Financial Aid Information Keep track of your financial aid online by viewing what documents have been
received by the Financial Aid Office and what documents are still needed. You can also accept or decline your
financial aid award online.
SE Schedule and Transcript You may view/print your semester grade reports, schedule of classes, and transcript.
Advisement History To promote academic success, all students are required to see an academic advisor prior to
enrollment each semester. If your advisor submits an online advising report, you may view your advisement
history in CampusConnect.
Address/Major/Advisor Changes Any changes in your address, telephone number, major, minor, advisor may be
submitted via CampusConnect. It is very important to keep your information up-to-date each semester.

CAMPUS RESOURCES

Many other services are available on the SE Campus to students:

Native American Center for Student Success - Advisors assist Native American students in a variety of
ways including academic advising, tribal funding information, academic success resources, and much
more. They are located in the Center for Student Success Building or at 580-745-3103.
Student Support Services(SSS) and SSS Project: TEACH assists eligible students (first-generation,
low-income, and/or students with disabilities) with academic advisement/enrollment, career counseling,
financial aid assistance, tutoring, and applying for graduate school. The regular SSS program is located
in the Glen D. Johnson Student Union, Suite 204 (580-745-2254) and the Project: TEACH, for
Education majors, is located in the Morrison Building, Room 224 (580-745-3304).
Students with Disabilities The Office of Compliance & Safety provides a wide range of services and
accommodations to students with disabilities. For eligibility information, please contact Mike Davis,
580-745-3090, [email protected], or Administration Building, Room 311.
Tutoring Tutoring is available in several subject areas in person or online via Smarthinking. Contact
SSS for more information.
Office of Student Life Your source of information about activities on campus, sororities/fraternities,
and student organizations. They are located in the Union, SU 306.
Student Health Services Currently enrolled students may visit Student Health Services for a variety of
basic health needs. A nurse is on staff daily and a physician is available 1-2 days a week. A wellness
center is also available in the Union.
SE Counseling Center - Counseling Services are available to all Southeastern students during the
academic year.
