This study evaluated the effectiveness of lemongrass oil as a mosquito repellent. Researchers extracted lemongrass oil and formulated it into different topical products. These products were then tested on volunteers to see how well they repelled mosquitoes. The results showed that a product containing 20% lemongrass oil provided effective mosquito repellency similar to commercially available repellents, suggesting lemongrass oil could be developed into a natural mosquito repellent.
