This research aims to develop an Android application to help with agricultural development in Bataan, Philippines. RESEARCH OBJECTIVES

General Objective

Realizing the significance and the problems associated with rice

productions motivated the proponents to develop a user friendly application for

the persons associated with agricultural development in Bataan. This research

attempts to develop an Android image-processing application that will

supplement the application of LCC, Soil Test, pests and plants diseases

identification.

Specific Objectives

1. To provide about 95% accuracy in the recommended amount of fertilizer

to be applied.

2. To provide close to 80% accurate system that will be used to identify

common rice crop pests and also provide a proper pests management.

3. To provide close to 80% accurate system that will be used to identify

common rice crop diseases and also provide a proper diseases treatment

information.
