This undergraduate thesis examines the production and marketing practices, costs, and returns of hybrid rice farming in Barangay Pinagturilan, Sta. Cruz, Occidental Mindoro. The study aims to describe the socio-economic profile of hybrid rice farmers, identify their production and marketing practices, and analyze the costs and returns of hybrid rice production. A survey was conducted of 30 hybrid rice farmers to collect primary data on production, costs, marketing, and problems encountered. The results found that farmers have adopted high-yielding hybrid rice varieties and use improved farming techniques. However, production costs are high and returns are low. The study recommends providing farmers with training, subsidies, and market
