The Signs of The End of The World

Is the End of the World near? The signs are present and now is the time to realize what

exactly is supposed to happen. In today's society, catastrophic weather events, illnesses, and war

are all increasing and many believe these are signs that the End is near. According to

"Revelation 1 - NIV Bible - The Revelation from Jesus Christ, Which God Gave...", Seven Seals

signal the End of the World and many Christians debate what exactly the Seals mean. Revelation

is mostly symbolism and can be interpreted in many different ways. This leads to Christians not

knowing if the Seals have already happened or not. Sadly, many people are in anguish as to what

to expect. After the Seventh Seal, the End of the World will take place. God will signal Seven

Trumpets that all send down Hellfire, Locusts, destroy the sea, and much more. The Worlds

population needs to be informed of what is to come and hopefully their anticipation will be

relieved after reading this research paper. Revelation states that Seven Seals and Seven Trumpets

will be impending warnings of the End of the World and many Christians are curious of what is

supposed to happen.

In the first place, Revelation is a book about Johns experience with God. God shows

John the Seven Seals that are impending signs of the End of the World. Symbolism is used

greatly in Revelation and many of the signs can be interpreted in four different ways. According

to "Comprehensive Bible Studies Around the World," Preterist, Historicist, Idealist, and Futurist

are all different viewpoints on Revelation. The Preterist view believes that the events that are

described in Revelation are past events that the early Church had to deal with. The Historicist

approach believes that Revelation describes the events going on now but, not the future events

that are to come. The Idealist position believes that the book represents the continuing conflict

between God and Satan. Lastly, the Futurist view believes Revelation is the closing events of

history. In this research paper, the information will be deciphered in the Futurist view, which the

majority of Christians go by. All of the Seals that are interpreted are leading signs of the End of

the World. But, whether the Seals have already happened or not is up to great debate.

Some signs of the End of the World, according to the Futurist view, have already

happened. This means that the End of the World is near. In todays society, horrible events

happen regularly and many of the events have been predicted in Revelation. According to

Revelation, Seven Seals signal the End of Times. The Seven Seals are; Christ, War, Famine,

Massive Death, Religious Persecution, Major Catastrophes, and the First Trumpet. Many

Christians state that some of the Seals have already happened. According to Baker, Mourtada, et

al, YouTube is full of horrific videos purporting to show Christians being beheaded, attacked

and, in one gruesome case, even crucified. In todays society Christians are being killed for

their religion. In Revelation, God states that the Fifth Seal will be all of the people in Heaven,

that died due to religious persecution, asking God when will He avenge their deaths. What is

amazing about this Seal is that Revelation dates back to 69 AD and it predicted all of these

events would be happening. If anything, this proves that God is real because only He knows what

is in our future. Along with Religious Persecution in todays society, many other Seals are

believed to have already happened. According to Ifediora,The Ebola virus disease (EVD)

outbreak in West Africa in 2014 became the regions most dangerous pandemic in history. The

Ebola crisis is another impending sign of the End of the World because it is predicted in

Revelation that a great Famine will happen and will will signal that the End is near. Even though

the Ebola crisis might not be a Seal, outbreaks such as these are increasing which will lead to the

horrific Famine that is predicted in Revelation. Other signs including War and Massive Deaths

could have already happened as well in WW1 and the Holocaust. According to Halverson, recent

weather events such as; hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis all have been happening

and are increasing in numbers. The San Andreas fault is due to fall at any time. Also, the recent

hurricanes that have been riding the East Coast. But, like said before, all of the signs are

interpreted. Christians do not know if these specific events are actually the specific Seals. All

Christians know is that the numbers are rising and that the End is near.

The Final Seal of the End of the World is the First Trumpet. In Revelation, Seven

Trumpets happen after the Final Seal. The Trumpets are all chances God gives the people to

accept Him into their hearts. The Trumpets include: Hail and Fire, destroying of the sea,

Wormwood hitting the planet, Locusts, and Angels killing humans. The Trumpets, unlike the

Seals, do not have much symbolism and is straightforward. God has mostly always been kind to

humans and this is the time where He really shows that nothing else compares to Him, that He

has all the power in the World. The First Trumpet will be according to Revelation, Hail Fire

mixed with blood that will be sent to the Earth and will destroy of the planet. The Second

Trumpet will destroy of the sea, along with ships and sea creatures, and will turn the water to

blood. The Third Trumpet is a star named Wormwood that will hit the Earth and will turn of

the water bitter. The Fourth Trumpet will change the day to night and the Fifth Trumpet will be

Locusts that come down and torture nonbelievers for 5 months but will not kill them. The Sixth

Trumpet will have Angels sent down to Earth to kill the people that still do not believe. Finally,

the Seventh Trumpet has not been told yet, God is leaving John with an unanswered Trumpet.

Many believe that the Non Believers left, that still will not accept God, is in store for something

horrifically unimaginable. On contrary, according to Baker and Biondi, others believe this will

be the Rapture. The Rapture is when God will take all the believers souls to Heaven in a split

second. In conclusion, after the Final Trumpet it will be the End.

With that being said, many Christians wonder what will happen before and after the End

of the World and according to Revelation the signs of the End of the World are near.

Catastrophic weather events, religious persecution, and famine are all signs of the End of the

World and they are happening right now in todays society. Even though the interpretation of

Revelation is in debate, Christians know that the most likely event to take place is the End of the

World. After the Final Seal, the End of the World will take place and many horrific events will

come after. Non Believers will face many trials and tribulations that will be horrific. Hellfire,

Wormwood, Locusts, and many more terrible events will happen that many fear will come soon.

The research in this paper hopefully informed people that the End of the World is near and if

they are not a Christian then they should be trying to be due to the horrible events after the Final

Seal. The signs are all present, now is the time to believe: Blessed is the one who reads aloud

the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in

it, because the time is near (Revelation 1:3).
