Constructing a Performance Task Scenario

Using GRASPS

Community Engagement, Solidarity and Citizenship

Goal

Your goal is to promote the significance of health promotion and disease prevention to the
young people.

Role

You are a member of an active volunteer organization that campaigns for the mission of
health program and prevention of health diseases.

Audience

The audience is youth (selected students from Grade 7 to Grade 12)

Situation

The volunteer organization will organize a community service project. The community
service projects are Cleanliness drive, make a community a cleaner place to live, personal
hygiene, a healthy habits and feeding program to encourage youth to eat healthy food.

Product Performance and Purpose

The group will develop a plan which is a community service project, they should the
expenses, timeline, community profiling and the community service project. The objective
of the group is to emphasize to the youth of the importance of health promotion and
disease prevention in the community.

Standard Criteria for Success

The active volunteer organization presentations are

-Health Promotion and Disease Prevention.

-Community Profiling.
