Dialy Work Report: PT Pioneer

PT Pioneer conducted a top overhaul of the engines on vessel TB. Tirtayasa V - 208. They overhauled the starboard engine (6 AYM-ETE No. 1603) from October 14-23, 2014 and the port engine (6 AYM-ETE No. 1604) from October 16-23, 2014. The work included disassembling, cleaning, replacing parts as needed, and reassembling components such as the cylinder heads, fuel injection valves, manifolds, coolers, and turbochargers.

10/15/2014 - Cover, core and tube of fresh water cooler cleaned


- Cover, core and tube of inter cooler (air cooler) cleaned
- Cylinder head No. 1 - 6 cleaned
- Cover core and tubes of lubricant oil cooler cleaned
- Engine block cleaned
- Suction and exhaust manifold cleaned
- Bonets, push rod, rocker arm and bridge valve cleaned
- the suction valve and the exhaust valve lapping

10/16/2014 - Assemble the fresh water cooler


- Assemble the intercooler (air cooler)
- Measure the exhaust valve and suction valve
- Assemble the valve steam seals cylinder head No. 1 - 6
- Assemble the cylinder head No. 1 - 6
- Tie cylinder head bolts with torque 44 kg/cm
- Assemble the push rod, bridge and rocker arm
- Assemble the suction valve and the exhaust manifold

- Sea water pump impeller replaced
- Engine oil crankcase cleaned
- Filter turbo charger cleaned
- Assemble the filters turbo charger
