Writing the date

When you write the date you must put the day first, month second and last the year.

Saying the date

When you say the date you must use 'the' before the day and of before the month.

25th December 2015 = The twenty-fifth of December Two thousand and fifteen
19th March 2013 = The 19th of March Two thousand and thirteen
