This daily diary summarizes construction progress and inspections for the AVIC Mixed Development Project on March 4, 2016. The weather was sunny throughout the day. Over 100 workers from the main contractor and subcontractor were on site. Inspections were carried out of formwork, reinforcement, concrete work, and curing on slabs, columns, beams and ramps. Drawings and shop drawings were referenced during inspections. No defects or issues were reported. Method statements for aluminum formwork and plumbing drawings were referred to but none were received. Overall progress and quality were found to be satisfactory.
