in order to reach out,spot,rew ard & nurture talented students from across the country and aid them

OVERALL MARKS DISTRIBUTION

The paper consisted of tw o sections consisting of 80 single choice correct questions in totalw hich are
as follow s:

1) C onceptual Section: First 60 questions are from conceptual sections having relatively easy
questions requiring deep know ledge of the subject. Each question carry 3 m arks if attem pted
correctly w hile 1 m ark w ould be deducted for w rong choice of options. N o m ark w ould be
deducted ifthe answ er is not m arked in O bjective Response Sheet (O RS)for a particular question.
2) B rilliance Section: Q uestions 61 to 80 are tricky and require extra effort from students to solve.
Each question carries 6 m arks if attem pted correctly w hile 2 m ark w ould be deducted for w rong
choice of options.N o m ark w ould be deducted if the answ er is not m arked in O bjective Response
Sheet (O RS)for a particular question.
