Kalimat present continuous dibentuk oleh be seperti am, is, are dan diikuti oleh present
participle (bentuk V 1+ing).
Rumusnya:

Negatif:
S + Tobe + Not+ Ving

PRESENT CONTINOUS TENSE digunakan untuk menyatakan:


sesuatu yang sedang dan masih terjadi ketika kita mengatakannya.
sesuatu yang kita anggap hanya sementara.
