Product Group - Display
Definition:-

Following are essential master data which are to be created before the
SOP Process.

Product Group.

A product group combines other product groups and materials


according to whatever criteria best meet the needs of your
enterprise; for example, manufacturing procedure, product
design, or market niche.

Product groups are classified according to whether they are


mutli-level or single-level.

A product group is multi-level if it contains other product groups.


However, the lowest level in a product group hierarchy always
consists of materials.

A product group is single-level if its members are materials only.


A material or product group can be a member of more than one
owner product group.

Objective

It is required to Display Product group. By following the steps given


below, one will be able to create product group.

Prerequisites:-

Authorization to display Product group.

Menu path

Logistics Production SOP Product Group MC86 - Display


1. Press Twice Press MC85 Display.
2. Maintain the following data:
Field Name Values
Product Enter value in
group Product group.
Plant Enter the number of
your Plant.

3. Press Enter .
4. Press Next level Button on keeping any desired current
level. e.g keep the cursor on and click to view further
levels.

5. Press Hierarchy graphic Button to see a graphical


display of the Product Group.

6. Press Back Button .

7. Press Back F3 .
