Dynamic of Rotation

1. A solid sphere with velocity 25 m/s rotates until reaching the top of a hill. The height of the hill is calculated to be 43.75 m. 2. A cylinder with moment of inertia I0 rotates with angular velocity ω0. A second cylinder with moment of inertia I1 that is initially not rotating drops onto the first cylinder. They reach a final angular velocity ωf, which is calculated. 3. An ice block floating in sea is calculated to have a submerged volume equal to the volume above water, using the densities of ice (0.9 g/cm3) and water (1.5 g/cm3).
