Edtechlesson Plan

The learning plan outlines an activity to teach students about the eight planets in the solar system. The objectives are for students to be able to identify, enumerate, and draw the eight planets. The activity involves students identifying planets from pictures. The teacher will then discuss the four inner planets (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars) and four outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune). To apply their knowledge, students will indicate whether listed planets are inner or outer. They will be assessed by drawing the solar system and enumerating its parts.

b. Firming Up (Analysis)

How did you identify the different kinds of planets?

What have you learned from the activity?

c. Deepening (Abstraction)

objects that orbit around it, either directly or indirectly. Of those objects that orbit the
sun directly, the largest eight are the planets. The four smaller Inner planets,
Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars and the outer planets are Jupiter, Saturn,
Uranus, and Neptune.
The teacher will discuss about the inner and the outer planets.
The teacher will ask some pupils to identify what of planets is she going to
