Objective
The objective of this lab is to introduce students to the Matlab environment and enable them to
perform basic mathematical operations.

1. Introduction
The MATLAB high-performance language for technical computing integrates computation,
visualization, and programming in an easy-to-use environment where problems and solutions are
expressed in familiar mathematical notation.
MATLAB is an interactive system which allows you to solve many technical computing problems.
The name MATLAB stands for matrix laboratory. MATLAB was originally written to provide easy
access to matrix software developed by the LINPACK and EISPACK projects. Today, MATLAB
engines incorporate the LAPACK and BLAS libraries, embedding the state of the art in software for
matrix computation.

Procedure:
First of all we open a matlab.then
we enter a command
>> powerlib

Then open a page in which components


are placed.specially it is a component
branch,in which different components are
placed
Then we enter a electrical sources option
and check different components
Then wo go to the tools of matlab and
click on Simulink then open new page.
Then we paste different components from
power liabrary.
Then joins one component to other
component with the helps of joins.
Finally we make a whole design which is
shown below.
Then we write in simulate liabrary
scope and then we changes equipment
inputs to outputs 3 ports.

Then we place a power gui


Then we click on a green button
nand simulate the experiment.
A wave Is produced
Then we zoom out and zoom in
and correct wave is produced;
Then we generate a wave with colors. We
can also changes the wave colors and
setting.

learn basic functions of matlab.
