The two pieces of typography both use specific font which is used throughout the two pieces. A font,
like any form of design, is created by the graphic designer such as soul bass has his own font named
Hitchcock he created for his designs over a years old using it. All the fonts are not created alike.
Some are fat and wide and some are thin and narrow. So words set in different typefaces can take
up a very different amount of space on the page. With the shining poster the typography is very
large and very thick and so they spacing between the letters and words had to be precise. The
shining poster has three different font sizes a large, medium and small.
The two graphic design pieces use leading lines which the font follows. The leading lines show the
vertical space between each line of type this also shows the strips of leading lines which were used
to separate the other typefaces. For legible body text that's comfortable to read, a general rule is that
your leading value should be greater than the font size; anywhere from 1.25 to 1.5 times.
