VOICE MAIL (AUDIX) FEATURES

1. How to LOG IN to the Audix system.

1. Dial 3900 from Avaya one-x agent application.


2. After prompt, dial your Extension No. (2744) followed by #.
3. Dial your password followed by #, 1590

2. How to record your name.

When you log in to the Audix for the first time, you will be prompted to
record your name as follows:

1. Press 1.
2. After the beep record your name.
3. After recording the name, press 1 again.
4. To save your recording, press #.

3. How to change your password.

1. Log in into the Audix system.


2. At the activity menu press 5 {administer lists or password
option }
3. At the sub menu press 4 {change password option}
4. Enter your password followed by #.
5. Repeat step 4 above.

Note:
Your password ensures that only you can access your messages.
You can use it each time you log in and can change it at your will.
Choose the sequence of minimum four digits as your new
password, preferably random digits.

Do no use * or # keys in your password. If you choose 0 as


password, it will be taken as no password.
4. How to change or listen to you personal greetings.
Log into the AUDIX system.
At the activity menu press 3 (Administer name or greetings).
Dial on the following options as desired.
0 To listen to your greetings.
1 - To create or change or delete your greeting.
2 - To scan all your greetings. (To listen all the greetings)
3 - To activate a greeting. (From available nine types)
4 - To administer (define) a greeting type.
# - To finish recording of greeting.

Note :
The system greeting is always greeting 0.
You can record as many as nine personal greetings, but only
one of these will be active at a time.

5. How to read your messages.

The message wait indicator on your telephone instrument indicates


that you have messages. To retrieve your messages follow the
sequence as below.
Log in into the AUDIX system.
At the activity menu, press 2 (Get your message option) and then
do any of the following steps.
0 - To listen to your messages
# - To skip the messages
*3 - To delete the messages
#0 - To listen to next message
**8 - To restore the message which is
just deleted

6. HELP / QUIT

To get help at any instance press *4.


To quit at any instance, press **9.
