Creating concise NO2 labels for the Benzene Rings or other unusual atom labels
(e.g.: X, Me, Et etc). This can be done by:
1. Clicking on the 'N' icon on the left toolbar
2. Drawing a bond from the benzene ring so as to create an NH2 Group (using
the Shift Key when drawing bonds ensures each bond is of equal length and
automatically oriented according to standard angles eg: 90 o, 45o etc...)
3. Editing the label using the Edit Atom Label button towards the bottom of the
left toolbar
4. Making sure that the Formula Style Tickbox is checked, change the label to
NO2.

3. Alter the charge value of any atoms by double-clicking on the atom in question. In the
Properties dialog box, navigate to the Charge tab as indicated above and set as required.
4. Finally, draw the mechanistic arrows by using a combination of the Arrow and Arc
tools under the Draw tab. Once this is done, grouping the structures is recommended.
