Component Modal Analysis: FEA methods were used to computing and animating power modules
and components natural frequencies and mode shapes.
Power Module Excitation Response: NVH CAE analysis process which combines a number of
load generation programs with FEM/BEM to compute the structural vibration response of the
power modules/brackets/door modules under operating conditions.
Virtual Vibration Test Simulation based on Random Vibration Acceleration Profiles: The testing
can be simulated in the virtual environment and components can be improved at design stage.
Radiated noise analysis: Structure born noise can be computed from the vibrating surfaces. Sys
Noise - a Boundary Element based software can be used for these analyses.
Cavity modal analysis: Resonant frequencies are important factors for noise radiation and
development. Cavities contribute and transfer sound waves when they are excited in resonant case.
Fluid-structural interaction or airborne noise have to be included if cavities are present.
Sound Pressure Level Analysis:
It is important to find an accurate transmission loss, radiation efficiency (radiating noise from
any sources) and direction of sound waves.
Therefore, far-field sound pressure has to be computed to present human hearing or point of
interest locations.
Noise Path Analysis (NPA):
It is a production CAE tool that combines the power modules excitation with vehicle acoustic
response to compute the total vehicle interior noise.
Helps to identify the critical power modulus-vehicle noise paths contributing to the interior
noise.
Transmission Loss Analysis for High and Low Frequency:
Key factor for the noise propagation from exterior sources into the passenger side.
