Boiler tripped on "Loss of Fuel" protection, Turbine tripped on interlock, Generator lockout relay U,l32G operated.

5 A) Observations :-
Unit was running at 365 MW load with coal mill A,B,D,G & H in seruice. At 11:01 Hrs, Suddenly all running coal mills
tripped thereby tripping all the coal feeders and boiler tripped on "Loss of Fuel" Indication. PA header pressure was
normal.

5 B) Remedial Action/work done :-


FSSS supply & both power supply checked found healthy. No faulty indication found on processor card.
Communication poert found active. Power supply changeover trial taken and found healthy. Boiler lightup activities
started.
6. Root Cause Analysis :-
There might be malfunctioning of program in processor card.

7. Preventive action suggested (Shoft Term) :- Nil

8. Preventive action suggested (Long Term) :-


l)Throughout checking of all connections, processors and control cards will be carried out in available opportunity.
2) Program in processor card shall be reloaded.
