The Municipal Health Office of Hamtic invites 100 students from Moscoso- Rios National Highschool to participate in the World AIDS Day celebration on December 1, 2016. The students are requested to wear red or white shirts and participate in a human HIV ribbon formation and perform an opening number. The event from 4-6 PM at Gen. Leandro Fullon National Shrine aims to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and advocate for policies to end the disease, reduce infections and stigma. The Municipal Health Officer hopes the principal will provide a positive response to benefit students' knowledge of the increasing issue.

Greetings from the Municipal Health Office of Hamtic!

The World AIDS day celebration is committed to ending HIV by raising awareness and advocating for the
advancement of effective policies at all levels. In addition, the Candlelight Advocacy Platform is inspired on current
thinking to improve the HIV response, zero AIDS related Deaths, zero new HIV infections and zero Stigma and
discrimination, and the Positive Health, Dignity and Prevention framework as driven by the movement of people
living with HIV.

The Municipal Health Office in cooperation with other partner agencies will be celebrating the AIDS Candlelight
Memorial on December 1, 2016, 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM at Gen. Leandro Fullon National Shrine (Hamtic Public
Plaza).

Anent this, we would to invite 100 students from your school to join us in this activity. Moreover, we would like also to
request if they could wear a red or white shirt for this is the standard color of the event, spearhead in the
Human HIV Ribbon Formation and present an intermission number for the opening program.

We look forward for your positive response in our request for this activity will be beneficial to the students in terms of
knowledge and attitude towards the increasing number of HIV/AIDS in the municipality. We would greatly appreciate
