PMI Exercise for Critical Thinking

The PMI (Plus, Minus, Interesting?) exercise encourages students to examine issues from multiple perspectives by having them identify positives, negatives, and interesting questions or comments about a given topic. Students work in small groups to generate pluses, minuses, and interesting points, which are then shared and discussed with the whole class. The goal is to help students think critically and holistically about issues by considering different consequences, opportunities, and viewpoints.
