Site Selection and Case Study

This case study examines a condominium site in Adama City. The site contains G+2 and G+3 condominium buildings arranged in T and L shapes around a central open space and parking area. It houses various residents and has balconies, gardens, and vegetation for natural ventilation. While accessible and secure, some ground floor units experience noise issues. The preferred alternative site is located in Gende Gara with opportunities like fewer disturbances and access to roads, but weaknesses like distance from services and flood risk. Afforestation, erosion control, and elevated foundations are suggested to mitigate weaknesses.
