appetite. So it will suit with the people who want to lose their weight.

Part 1: Product/Service Feasibility

Issues Addressed in This Part
A. Product/service desirability
B. Product/service demand

Assessment Tools
Concept Statement Test

Write a concept statement for your product/service idea. Show the concept statement
to 5 to 10 people. Select people who will give you informed and candid feedback.
Attached a blank sheet to the concept statement, and ask the people who read the
statement to (1) tell you three things they like about your product/service idea, (2)
provide three suggestions for making it better, (3) tell you whether they think the
product or service idea is feasible (or will be successful), and (4) share any additional
comments or suggestions.
Summarize the information you obtain from the concept statement into the following
three categories:

* Strengths of the product or service ideathings people who evaluated your

product or service concept said they liked about the idea
* Suggestions for strengthening the ideasuggestions made by people for
strengthening or improving the idea
* Overall feasibility of the product or service conceptreport the number of
people who thing the idea is feasible, the number of people who think it isnt
feasible, and any additional comments that were made
* Other comments and suggestions

Copyright 2009 Pearson Education, Inc. Publishing as Prentice Hall

Buying Intentions Survey
Distribute the concept statement to 15 to 30 prospective customers (do not include
any of the people who completed the concept statement test) with the following
buying intentions survey attached. Ask each participant to read the concept statement
and complete the buying intentions survey. Record the number of people who
participated in the survey and the results of the survey here.
Along with the raw data recorded here, report the percentage of the total number of
people you surveyed that said they would probably buy or definitely would buy your
product or service if offered. This percentage is the most important figure in gauging
potential customer interest.

One caveat is that people who say that they intend to purchase a product do
not always follow through, so the numbers resulting from this activity are almost
always optimistic. Still, the numbers provide you with a preliminary indication of
how your most likely customers will respond to your potential product or service
offering.

How likely would you be to buy the product or service described above?
__0____ Definitely would buy
___3___ Probably would buy
__1____ Might or might not buy
____8_ Probably would not buy
_____1_ Definitely would not buy
Additional questions may be added to the buying intentions survey.

Conclusion (expand fields and report findings, in discussion form, for each area)
A. Product/service desirability
Our founder think that it is reasonable to make this product even this kind of
product is have a lot of competitors but we know for sure that if we put a lot of
effort and dedicated about it so we can achieve the goal. We know that it is not a
new kind of thing but as we said from the beginning, we will make the customer
excited about it by advertisement or the design of the container which is not the
same as another brand. Right now people are more interested in taking care their
health so we think that this is the right time to starting this kind of business and we
sure that our product can fill a gap in the marketplace. Because it is the first time
so there will have some flaws in the product but we will try our best to improve
and provide the best product for our customer.
B. Product/service demand
According to the survey, it can be seen that about 67% of the people decided to
choose probably would not buy and about 25% choose probably would buy. In
conclusion, it seem like our product is not attractive to the customer because
nowadays, in Thailand has a lot of company who making weight loss pills so it

seem like our product isnt different from another company.
C. Product/service feasibility (circle the correct response)
Not Feasible Unsure Feasible
D. Suggestions for improving product/service feasibility.
We have to find something that makes our product has more reliability and different
from the other brand such as find more ingredients that can make the body burn more
calories and it safe. Also maybe have a promotion to guarantee that our product is
efficiency such as if in one month after the customer buys our product and their weight
doesnt decrease at least 2 kg., we will turn money back to them.

A. Industry attractiveness
Overall, it can be seen that my company is not attractive as much because we have
a lot of competitors also our product is not have a lot of difference from another
brand. Its very hard for us to drive our company to compete with another
company. We should find the way that can make our capsule be more different and
unique to beat another brand.
B. Target market attractiveness
I think our product have more attractiveness than another brand. Most of Thai
people, before they want to buy something they will focus about the design of the
product and also from the advertisement especially if in the advertisement has the
famous celebrity or actor, it can get more attention to the customer. Even our
product is not different from another competitors but our product is good looking
which is designed by the famous product designer also we choose the famous actor
to be our brand ambassador.
C. Market timeliness
Even this is not the right time for moving our business but according to my
research from Thai Marketing website, they predict that in the future the kind of
company which is produce the nutrient capsule or lose weight pills, the profit will
be increase significantly in about 1 to 2 years from now. With this reason, we are
confident that our company will get a lot of profit in the future because our
product is the combination of nutrient capsule and lose weight pill. Nowadays, as
we can see from the social network, people are interesting in fitness and like to
take care their shape or body so they will find some product to help their body be
fit and healthy.
D. Industry/market feasibility (circle the correct response

E. Suggestions for improving industry/market feasibility.
To improving our product, we should add up the ingredient to our capsule or
change the form of our product from capsule to be jelly to make more difference
and get more attention from the customer. We also make a promotion because it is
also the important thing to get an attention from the customer.

to make sure that we go to the same direction.

Part 4: Financial Feasibility

Issues Addressed in This Part
A. Total startup cash needed
B. Financial performance of similar businesses
C. Overall financial attractiveness of the proposed venture

Assessment Tools
Total Start-Up Cash Needed
The startup costs (which include capital investments and operating expenses) should
include all the costs necessary for the business to make its first sale. New firms
typically need money for a host of purposes, including the hiring of personnel, office
or manufacturing space, equipment, training, research and development, marketing,
and the initial product rollout.

At the feasibility analysis stage, it is not necessary for the number to be exact.
However, the number should be fairly accurate to give an entrepreneur an idea of the
dollar amount that will be needed to launch the firm. After the approximate dollar
amount is known, the entrepreneur should determine specifically where the money
will come from to cover the startup costs.

The total startup cash needed can be estimate using the following table.

Total Startup Cash Needed (to Make First Sale)

Capital Investments Amount

Conclusion

In conclusion, Nutrient Capsule is the product which is the combination between

nutrient capsule that help to maintain the health and weight lose pills. The founder and
workers put a lot of effort to this product even it is not a new kind of thing we choose
advertisement and promotion to make the customer feel excited about our brand.
Nowadays, people like to take care their health and control their weight so we think that
this is the right time for our company to provide this kind of product.

According to the survey, most of the people decided to choose probably would not
buy and about 25% choose probably would buy so it seem like our product is not that
attractive. Its very hard for us to drive our company because we have a lot of
competitors. Most of Thai people, before they want to buy something they will focus
about the design of the product and also from the advertisement especially if in the
advertisement has the famous celebrity or actor. Because of this, we can fight against
another brand by using this trick. In the present, as we can see from the social network,
people are interesting in fitness and like to take care their shape or body so they will find

some product to help their body be fit and healthy so we know for sure that in the future
the circulation of our company will rise rapidly.

In our business, we have such a good management team they are all graduated from
university, have a lot of experience and work as a great team so we are confident that the
management of the company will work efficiency. In our company, we always make sure
that he amount of the resources are sufficient to making the product. The total startup
cash of the company is 4,066,500 Baht which is quiet high because we try to provide the
good quality product by use the good quality machine. In our opinion, in the future we
can beat our competitor easily because we predict the amount of the net income and
annual sales, the result come out that we are nearly to compete another company. The
important thing is we should always aware about the future because we dont know what
the economic is going to be, it always fluctuated.
