Sir,
This is with reference to the Trimester/Semester-end examinations to be held in September/
November 2016. I request you to arrange to furnish the following information from the Heads of
Departments of your Institute, in the prescribed Formatsas formatted below. The hard and soft
copies of the information have to reach the undersigned latest by 20-07-2016.

The data furnished by the departments shall be the basis for paper-setting, valuation, preparation
of hall-tickets, gallies, etc.

You are requested to instruct the departments


i. to change the names of the paper-setters and external examiners, every two years
ii. not to include the names in more than two papers of same paper setter.
iii. to include names of paper-setters only after confirming their latest official address,
mobile and landline numbers (with STD Codes), e mail ID & their acceptance.

FORMAT I: CHANGES IN COURSE CODES, TITLES, SYLLABUS etc.

Information is to be furnished Trimester/ Semester-wise on separate sheets for each Program and
Courses (Theory & Lab/ Practical/Project/ etc) offered by the department.

*pertaining to changes that have taken place since November 2015 examinations, in the
following aspects:
Changes in Syllabus- total or partial, reshuffling among units,additions and/or deletions
of the contents etc.
Changes in prescribed text books, reference books
Changes in Course Codes, Titles
Changes in Model Papers & allocation of marks. Wherever there is change, a model
paper has to be enclosed.

Note: Hard copies of the Syllabus and Model paper duly signed by the Chairman, BOS and Head
of the Department are to be sent for every course, whether there are changes or no changes

Course Codes of both Theory and Lab courses registered by each student along with
Specializations/Optional Course have to be furnished in Format II.

FORMAT IV: LISTS OF EXAMINERS

The lists of Examiners for the valuation of scripts of each program/Semester (Course-wise) has
to be furnished in FORMAT IV. A teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience in
the relevant field is only eligible to be an examiner.

INTERNAL EXAMINERS: The name of the present teacher of the course and names of any
three other teachers from the department who taught the course earlier are to be furnished.

EXTERNAL EXAMINERS:
1. Names of three teachers from Andhra University with expertise in the subject.
2. Names of three teachers from Other Universities in the State or outside the State with
expertise in the subject.
