under the voltage section and current section.
f) Now Use ^ or v button until " Addressable mode A " command is displayed
in the "Display section B". Press Enter button.
g) Select Now Use ^ , ,< or > buttons until " Address 1 " command is
displayed in the "Display section D". Press Enter button. Select the Excel file based
on the number of IO95 modules connected for PG Test.
Note : During Data Logging "remote" indication light will glow in the Power
Meter
Points to remember :
1. Before connecting the communication cable to PC (laptop). Ensure high voltage (24
VDC) is not present at the PC end communication cable.
2. If the configuration of Digital Power Meter is not done properly ( settings in 1030
DPM and Commands in Datalog(com) Excel sheet ), when logging started the system will
report a time out error no. 13. Cross check for the above points and start again.
3. When the Power Meter is not connected to the Data logger or it is made OFF, delete
the Commands from Datalog(com) excel sheet.
4. If Data logging system fails to communicate with Digital Power Meter, the PC may
hang-up. To isolate the Digital Power Meter delete the commands ( ;DC3, ;DC6 or OD from
Datalog(com) Excel sheet.
5. When logging process is ON please don't disturb the computer and the formula fields
like calibration fields and Ht. Correction fields.
6. Once the Data logging process is started and stopped, it is necessary to exit from
Excel and reopen the Excel file to start the Data logging again.
7. The length of communication cable between first PSA (near PC)and first IO95 module
should be minimum (0.5 meter).
8. The top cover of the IO95 modules may be kept opened during logging to avoid
excessive heating of the modules.
9. Before connecting the Pressure transmitter to 4-20 mA modules, please ensure that
250 Ohms resistor has been put in the module. While connecting Pressure Transmitter, do
not short circuit the cable; this may damage the module.
10. In Excel sheet, hidden formulas are fixed in many cells, so avoid as far as possible to
use 'copy and paste' command to prevent any error.
11. Enter the calibration certificate with extreme care. Do not enter Alphabets in numeric
field (cells) in calibration entry area. This may stop logging.
12. Charge the Docking Station before attaching the LapTop. Attach the LapTop with
Docking Station carefully. Detach the lapTop from Docking Station by using 'PC eject'
command in Start Menu. Do not try to forcibly pull out the LapTop from Docking Station.
How to take Average of Raw Values
B) Taking average of Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 : If the user wants to take average for
combine period of Raw1 and Raw2 sheets; note down the required period ( start time and
end time in 24:00:00 Hrs format ). Now first take the average for the period falling in
"Raw1" sheet as per the procedure given in point A). Now press the "Avg_sht2" button and
enter the start time and stop time. When this button is pressed first it will calculate the
average value for the sheet Datalog(Raw2) after completing this it will calculate the average
for Datalog(Raw1) and Datalog(Raw2) and the result will be displayed in Average Sheet.
Select the cell which has the time stamping i.e "I15", hold "Ctrl" + "Shift" buttons pressed
and press right arrow and left arrow to select the entire range of cells of Datalog(Raw1)
sheet. Press "Ctrl" + "C" for copy. Now the selected contents will be in the clip board.
Insert a new work sheet from "Insert / work sheet" from the menu bar.
In the new worksheet select a cell from where you want to paste the copied contents of
Datalog(Raw1) sheet, press "right click", select "paste special" from the list, select "
values only" option in the screen displayed and press "OK" button. Now all the values
would have been pasted there as values. Time stamping would also be stored as
numbers, but when the same is pasted to Datalog(Raw1) it will get back ti time format.
Now the back up of Datalog(Raw1) would have been taken, so follow the same procedure
as mentioned in point no "a" for copying the data from the Datalog(Raw2) sheet to
Datlog(Raw1).
Now select the cell which has the time stamping i.e. "I15" in Datalog(Raw1), press right
click, select paste special, select values only and press "OK" button. Now the data of
Datalog(Raw2) is available in Datalog(Raw1) sheet.
Now by pressing the "Avg_sht1" button in the Datalog(com) sheet, Average for the same
can be taken.
Note : Please check the average value for Flow Transmitters are coming correct,
If you find that Averaging is not correct for Flow transmitter, change the tag "FT"
to "PT" in appropriate cells. And Now take the average again.
