Exercise 1. Create a Business Letter

A Corporate Stripe is a set of documents that have the company logo, fonts, and styles. This
exercise allows you to practice formatting text and pictures while you create a business letter.

1. Type the company name and address


Computers Are Us

2. Format the type: Tahoma, 12 point, bold, justified, and black


3. Insert a Picture from ClipArt (Use one of the pictures for a company logo if there is no
picture logo from clipart, create your own logo)
4. Insert the date and type a sample business letter

Note: Save your work as wordexer1surname

Exercise 2. Create your own letter head

You are to create your own personal letterhead. It must include:


1. Your name use word art
2. Your address, include city, province, postal code
3. Your phone number
4. Your email add
5. Your website url (if you have one)
6. Graphics/picture that pertains to you

Note: The placement/location of item is up to you, letterheads must extend no more than 2 inches
from the top of the page.

Note: Save your work as wordexer2surname

Exercise 3. Business letter with your created letterhead.

1. Open your letterhead.


2. Type the letter below following these instructions:
a. Centre the word (your name) Corporation
b. Insert the date
c. Ms. Richardsons name and address are single spaced.
d. Underlined the words confirmation and 9p.m.
e. Bold the words no cost, November 25, Norseman Inn and Cappys Capper
f. Put approx 4 blank lines after Warmest regards to allow space for a signature
g. Your first and last name are typed at the bottom
h. Save it as wordexer3surname
