JOB DESCRIPTION

I joined SAP Labs India as a Software Engineer two and a half


years ago (17th October 2011 till date) and have been working in product
support. Earlier, I was with ITC InfoTech for around two years and three
months. I was employee of ITC infotech but I was working in SAP LABS India
in client side and I was working in SAP SRM. I had been into development and
support and testing for SAP SRM.
In SAP Labs I work with the IMS (Installed-based Maintenance and
Support) Team which is responsible in solving customer issues with the ERP
products and to provide support to the customers. As part of the IMS Team,
my main activity is to maintain the products Biller Direct and Dispute
management and provide support to all the customers using the product.

Dispute management and Biller direct are products in SAP-FSCM (Financial


Supply Chain Management). I am involved in solving complex issues with
these applications and help the customers with any issues in the above topic.
My job is to help the customer customizing and making them avail the best
use of the product, performing corrections in case of bug in the product,
identify functional gaps and suggest a work around and help customers in
performance issues.
I have worked on these areas for a little more than 2.8 years have gained
good knowledge about the SAP-FSCM products. Apart from the knowledge in
products mentioned earlier, I have good exposure on other FSCM topics such
as Liquidity planner, Treasury and Risk management and credit management
etc.
SKILL SET SUMMARY

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Have good ABAP programming skills.


Have good Java programming skills and passed SCJP(Sun Certification
in Java programing ) with 90 % .
Have worked on BADI/BAPIs and RFCs.
Have got good knowledge in RDBMS and have worked on Oracle and
SQL server.

FUNCTIONAL EXPERTISE

Good functional knowledge in the components under FSCM (financial


supply chain management).
