SALVATION ARMY BELL

RINGING
We are still waiting to hear how we
did. Announcement will be made at
their annual awards dinner coming
soon.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
We all know membership in volunteer
organizations has been on the decline.
We are going to try a different approach
this year. We will be contacting the
businesses to do a CORPORATE
MEMBERSHIP. They become the member
and then send some employees to our
meetings. The hope is one or more of the
employees will become interested and
convert to a regular membership.
We will have a committee meeting to go
over the details of the CORPORATE
MEMBERSHIP. Please let me know if you
want to be on this committee. We will
target some of the businesses that used to
have an employee join our club and work
out from there. We will try to set up
personal calls to let them know about our
club and provide them with Kiwanis info.
Calls can be made as a team or alone.
WE NEED TO GROW OUR CLUB
SO WE DONT END UP LIKE THE
OCONOMOWOC KIWANIS EVENING
CLUB THAT FOLDED IN 2003.

NEVER TO EARLY TO
THINK ABOUT SUMMER

Hello to you all,

In spite of all this gloomy weather we
have been having, the sun will shine upon
us again.
I am planning a club outing for this
summer, I'm looking at Sunday July 23. It
is at Green Lake, its not to far
to drive. We would have lunch at the
Heidel House, its a beautiful place to meet
& have lunch. They have
a nice cruise around Green Lake, I
thought it would be a fun afternoon,
someplace we have not been to before.
The cost of the cruise is $12.00, the
Lunch is all inclusive (except cocktails) is
$23.00. I will have a menu
to share as soon as I receive it., during
the 1 hour boat cruise, they can add a
cocktail bar, or coffee, or other beverage,
that can be decided at a later date. I
thought I would get this out early, because
I know summer can get busy.
If you could please get back to me soon,
so I will have an idea how many will be
coming. As in the past friends & family
are welcome to join us. Think warm sunny
afternoon, perfect day in Wisconsin.
Hugs, Carolyn Crom
