Due to the sudden increase of cases of absenteeism and cutting classes, the school Advisers, together with our Principal, parents and students, have agreed to secure first an
Admission Slip in the
Guidance Office before the student will be admitted to his/ her classes. This would help not only the teachers/advisers minimize abseteeism or cutting classes, but can be of great help
to parents
aswell in monitoring their childrens attendance and performance in school. In the end, this policy helped the school lessen the percentage of drop-out students.
Last August 2012, the Principal together with the Testing Coordinator attended the Orientation Meeting for the Iskolar ni Gob. Requirements and qualifications were discussed during
the
said event.
In line with the Guidance and Values Department goal of minimizing absenteeism, cutting classes and misbehavior inside the school, we decided to build a Nipa Hut to help the
school
environment with having green and flowering plants. Students who will be violating school rules and regulations will be ask either to bring plants, water it every day or clean
that part of the school. This would also help the students realize their mistakes but at the same time make a greener environment. This project was a success and is still being
maintained and
well-taken cared of.
The PREDAC Office conducted the school-wide Iskolar ni Gob orientation to all 4 th year students. Requirements and qualifications were discussed. Selected 4 th year students took up
the
qualifying exam last January 26, 2013 at Simeon Bendana Elem School. Out of ten (10) examinees who took up the exam, four (4) passed the Student Assistance Program (SAP).
We had our Early Registration for incoming 1st year students, OSY,ALS and PWDs last January 26, 2013 to support the campaign of DEPED in preparation for the next school year
activities
and programs.
The National Achievement test (NAT) were conducted last March 6, 2013.
Fourth (4th) year graduating students had a Recollection sponsored by the Baras Cursillista and the Values & Guidance Department last March 8, 2013.
