I got it working herehere arethe details.
Multikey 19.0 In windows 8.1 1. Download and install the latest hasp or sentinel drivers, Install your *.reg file (reboot) 2. When windows starts move mouse to the right until ribbon appears, click on Settings (Gear Icon) , Change PC Settings, Update & Recovery, Recovery, Advanced Start Up then Restart Now. Select Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, Startup settings, Restart.. When prompted what option press F7. The system will restart with driver enforcement dissabled 3. Enter Device Manager ( right click on windows logo on lower left side) 4. Select System Devices. go to the Action (menu) Click on Add Legacy Hardware. 5. When the Add Hardware window appears click Next. Then select= Install the Hardware that I manually Select From A List (Advanced) Then Select= System Devices ... click Next Then click= Have disk Then Browse for the directory where your multiKey drivers are stored.. Click Ok, then Next.Next Finish If It asks for a reboot make sure you do it as specified on step 2. If it does'nt work manualy delete the drivers in device manager use step 4. then install again It worked for fine for me.. If someone finds a way to permanently keep drver enfocement Off In Win 8.1 Pleas e Post.. FOUND ONE Step1. Open the Windows command promt as Run as Administrator . Step2. Run bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS (without the ). Step3. To finalize the process run bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON (without the ). Step4. Reboot and you re done. To disable it do step 1 and run these commands on step 2 and 3: Step2. bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS (without the ) Step3. bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF (without the ) Then do step 4 and you re done. There is an issue with this method it leavesa watermark saying you are intest modeu ntil you disable it again. Only do this when you need to install a large number of unsigned drivers. And i prefer disabling it when you ve installed all drivers y ou needed. betonesto71 Posts : 3 Points : 6 Reputation : 1
