DID Translation
DID translation tables provide the system with a way to terminate DID incoming calls to
extensions that may or may not be in the same number range as the DID numbers. They
also allow you to terminate DID calls to different extensions in day vs. night mode, or
any of the 8 available modes.

DID Trunk Group to Translation Table Assignment
Assign the DID trunk group mode 1 to table 1 and mode 2 to table 2. In
this example, mode 1 represents the day mode and references table 1 in
MB 22-10. Mode 2 represents the night mode referencing table 2 in MB
22-10.
22-10
DID Translation Table Area Setup
This MB divides up the 2000 possible tables into day and night and 1st and
2nd starting and ending areas.
22-11
DID Translation Table
This is where you assign the incoming DID number to the extension it will
terminate on.
Example:
22-13
DID trunk group 001, mode 1 = 1 mode 2 = 2
DID translation Area 1 is to be used for day mode1 and translation
area 2 will be used for night mode 2.
22-10
Day mode 1 1st area starting address = 1, 1st area ending address = 100.
2nd area starting address = 101, and 2nd area ending address = 150. Night
mode 2 1st area starting address = 1, 1st area ending address = 100. 2nd area
starting address = 151, and 2nd area ending address = 200.
In this example, both modes share tables 1~100 in the 1st area. They will
be used for numbers that ring into the same destination in both day and
night modes. The 2nd area contains tables unique to day and night modes.
Those numbers will ring at different locations in the night mode. For
example in the day mode calls may ring to a receptionist while in night
mode they may ring to an automated attendant.

DID table 1, received number 1002, target number 102, dial in name,
DID 102.
In translation table number 1 the number received from Telco is 1002, and
it will terminate on extension number 102. The incoming name will be
DID 102.
22-11
DID table 101, received number 1000, target number 200, dial in name
Main # Day.
In translation table number 101 the number received from Telco is 1000,
and it will terminate on extension 200. The incoming name will be Main #
Day. Due to the setting in MB 22-10, this number will only route in the
day mode. Note that the table is referenced in the second area address in
mode 1 only.
22-11
DID table 151, received number 1000, target number 300, dial in name,
Main # Night.
In translation table number 151 the number received from Telco is 1000,
and it will terminate on extension 300 which may be the pilot number for
an automated attendant. Note that this table is referenced in MB 22-10 in
the night mode (2), second area address (152). This is in effect only in
mode 2, the night mode.
Memory block 22-11 offers more options. See below.
22-11-01
Received number
22-11-02
Target number. If the target number is not assigned, then it will route to
the transfer target 1 location (see 22-11-05) based on the setting in MB 2211-04.
22-11-03
The name that appears on the top line of the LCD.
22-11-04
If this is set to no transfer, then incoming calls will only route to the first
target assigned in 22-11-05.
22-11-05
Transfer target 1
22-11-06
Transfer target 2
22-11-07
Call waiting
22-11-08
Maximum Number of Calls. 0 = no limit.

Music on hold source. MOH can be selected for an individual DID.
22-11-10
ACI music source port. If ACI is selected then the ACI port must be
assigned in 22-11-10.
22-11-11
The final target, if selected, is the intercept ring group transfer. This is a
ring group assigned per DID translation area table.
NOTE: Valid entries for target 1 and 2;
0 = no setting. The call will skip this target
1~100 = ring groups 1 through 100
102 = the VM pilot assigned in 45-04-01
103 = the centralized VM in a CCIS network
201~264 = department groups 1 through 64
400 = valid extension. Provides dial tone allowing a caller to dial a station
only.
501~548 = DISA/VRS message
601~699 = In Mail message box
1000~9999 = speed bin number (000~999)
