Trasdata Install Manual

- Install Trasdata with an inactive internet connection and uncheck the option to start Trasdata automatically during installation. - During first launch, register the software by sending the displayed HWID to the distributor to receive an activation code. - After installing and activating, change the FTDI driver to TRASDATA and start Trasdata from the desktop shortcut. Click "OK" at the first message box and "NO" at the second. - To switch between KTAG and Trasdata, start the desktop shortcut and use the flash symbol after selecting the appropriate file. Reconnect the device after flashing.

Installation and Start:

-Use with deactivated internet only


-During install uncheck start Trasdata now:

-when you run Trasdata the first time, you will see a registration window -> send the displayed HWID
to your distributor -> you will get back a registration name + activation code
-after installation and activation is complete change FTDI to TRASDATA (see point Switch
between KTAG and TRASDATA in instruction below)
-start Trasdata from Desktop shortcut
-When you start Tradata there will pop up 2 message boxes -> proceed with them as mentioned
below:
At the first message box click at the button OK :

At the second message box click at the button NO

Switch between KTAG and TRASDATA:


-start the Switcher KTAG-Trasdata from Desktop
-File\Open
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Dimsport\Switcher KTAG-Trasdata (on 32 bit Systems
C:\Program Files\Dimsport\Switcher)
-select KTAG or TRASDATA EPT File
- click on the flash symbol -> see picture below
- reconnect device to USB port
