Airline Transport Pilot Licence

The Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATPC), or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, is the highest level of pilot certification that allows pilots to serve as pilot-in-command of commercial flights. To obtain an ATP certificate, pilots must be at least 23 years old and have a minimum of 1,500 hours of flight experience, or meet alternative eligibility requirements related to military service or an aviation-related university degree. The ATP certification involves extensive testing on subjects like regulations, aircraft systems, performance, navigation, meteorology and human factors.
