Johannes Kepler

Johannes Kepler was a German mathematician, astronomer, and astrologer during the 17th century scientific revolution. He is best known for his laws of planetary motion described in works like Astronomia nova and Harmonices Mundi, which provided a foundation for Isaac Newton's theory of universal gravitation. Dmitri Mendeleev was a Russian chemist and inventor in the 19th century. He formulated the Periodic Law and created the first recognizable modern periodic table of elements, which allowed him to correctly predict the properties of undiscovered elements.
