1.Introduction:
Values Provides the basic foundation for
understanding a persons personality perception and attitudes.
Values are considered subjective and vary across people and

cultures. Values are nothing but a judgmental element of what


is right, good, or desirable.

2.Definition and Meaning of Values:


Definition:
According to Edwerd Spranger define the Values as
the

constellation

of

standards,

or

qualities,

characteristics, or ideas that determine a persons


view of the world
o It means he said that group of standards or
qualities are like, dislike, viewpoints, rational
and irrational judgments or ideas of person that
determine a persons perception of the world.
Values are the things that You believe are
important in the way you live and work. They
determine your priorities, and deep down, they are
probably the measures you use to tell if your life is
turning out the way you want it to.

Meaning:
Values are a belief of person or social group, a set of
emotional rules that people follow to help make the
right decisions in life, to decide what is right and
wrong, and how to act in various situations.

Values are the basic determination of perceptions,


opinions and attitudes.

Value is a collection of guiding principles; what an


individual considers being morally right and desirable
in life, especially regarding personal conduct.

Value is important and lasting beliefs or ideals


shared by the members of a culture about what is
good or bad and desirable or undesirable. Values
have major influence on a persons behavior and
attitude and serve as broad guidelines in all
situations. Some common business values are
fairness, innovation and community involvement.

Try not to become a man of success but rather


try to become a man of value.

4.Examples:
Creativity:

My first core value is Creativity. It means do


something different from others. The example of
creativity is as follows:
I always plan and take a trip to a place that I have
never visited before.
In examination, I always gave different examples,
related facts etc. which is not given in a book.
I watch something new on television or

read

something new that I have no knowledge of.

Ambitious:
My second core value is I am an Ambitious. It means
having a strong desire to succeed. Example of
ambitious is as follows:
I want to get a good grade in my degree.
I want to get success in my professional life.
I want to become a well-known personality in my life.

Self - Confidence:
My third core value is Self-confidence. It means have
a trust or confidence in yourself. Example of selfconfidence is as follows:
When I am passionate about what I do, it doesnt
matter if the result of my attempt did not turn out a

according to my expectation. I will enjoy the process


of discovering what work and what did not, until I
finally get to where I want to go. The feeling of
resentment or fear, and that is the moment when I
am experiencing true self-confidence.
I am always gave any examination with Selfconfidence.

Respect for others:


My forth core value is Respect for others. It means Respecting
Educating
Supporting
Persons
Expectations
Choices With
Trust

Example of respect for others is as follows:


I dont answer back when someone tells me to do

something.
Stand up when an elder person enters the room.
I gave value to other peoples opinion.
I listen to others when they speak.
I dont pressure someone to do something he or she

doesnt want to do.


I dont insult people especially in public.

Helpful:
My fifth core value is Helpful. It means help others.
Example of helpful is as follows:
I am always helpful to my friends at exam time.
I am always helpful to my brother in any situation.
I am always helpful to poor people by giving books,
clothes, etc..

As above discuss about my core values with my Example.

5.Conclusion:
Value is very important part of human being because
value helps people to grow and develop. Every people have
different values like, loyalty, carefulness, Trust, Courage,
Truthfulness, and Integrity etc. Therefore, Values have also a

social function. Those derived from commonality of experience


unite families, tribes, Societies and nations.
Values are not like laws-you cannot break them.
You can only break yourself against them
