Reading Reflection Rubric

This rubric evaluates reading reflection notebook entries on quality, neatness, spelling/punctuation/word choice, and quantity. Secure entries (5 points) show evidence of reflection, deeper thinking, and applying reading workshop lessons. Entries are labeled and the notebook looks well cared for. Spelling and punctuation are edited. Entries are at least 6 sentences. Emerging entries (4 points) meet most criteria. Beginning entries (3 points) show some reflection and deeper thinking. Neatness and spelling/punctuation vary. Quantity is sometimes met. Below entries (2 points) have more summaries than reflection, are confusing, show no workshop application, lack labeling and care, have unedited spelling/punctuation, and few are 6 sentences.
