Assignment 3

This document contains instructions for three engineering mechanics problems. The first problem involves determining the magnitude of spring and bearing forces on an automobile suspension arm subjected to pair of 900N forces. The second problem involves calculating the moment exerted on a steering wheel from forces during a right turn. The third and final problem requires determining reaction forces, sketching shear force and bending moment diagrams, and drawing the elastic curve for a shaft supported by bearings and carrying a pulley.
