Handle
1. Make a straight vertical line across the origin measured 152.4mm.
2. Make a perpendicular line on a same side at each of the end of the line measured
3.175mm.
4. Measure 8.89mm from the vertical line and connect the lines together.
5. Go to the trim entities menu and use power trim to trim unneeded lines
6. Go to the features menu and select revolved boss and make the first vertical line as
axis of rotation.
Cover Plate
1. Make a rectangle with length 50.8mm and 25.4mm width long.
2. Go to the features menu, select extrude boss and extrude 9.398mm long.
3. Select the top view and sketch a circle with diameter 4.3688mm at the each of the
corner of the surface.
4. Go to the Smart Dimension and make the distance between two circle 19.05mm and
distance between the centres of the circle to the edge of the rectangle is 3.175mm.
5. Go to the features menu and use extrude cut function to cut through all the circle on
the block.
Ball End
1. Make a circle with diameter 14.2748mm and make a line dividing the circle into
halves.
2. Trim one of the arcs using the power trim from the trim entities function.
3. Measure 4.7625mm from the vertical line and make a straight touching the arc.
4. Using the Trim Entities, power trim the minor arc and the short vertical line.
5. Go to the Features, select revolved boss and select the vertical line as axis of rotation.
6. Select 3D sketching and sketch a circle with diameter 6.3246mm at the flat surface.
7. Go to the Features menu, select extrude cut with total depth of 9.525mm.
Rack Pad
1.Make a circle with diameter 22.23mm and go to the features menu, select extrude boss and
extrude 6.35mm long.
2.Make second circle with diameter 15.875mm and go to the features menu, select extrude
boss and extrude 6.35mm long.
3.Make third circle with diameter 6.35mm and go to the features menu, select extrude boss
and extrude 15.88mm long.
4. Go to features menu, select fillet and make a fillet with radius of 7.92mm.
5. Go to features menu, select chamfer and make a chamfer with distance of 1.875mm and 45
degree.
Rack
1.Make a rectangle with length 111.13mm and 15.88mm width long and go to the features
menu, select extrude boss and extrude 12.70mm long.
2. Select front view and then make a line with 19.05mm long.
3. Go to sketch menu and select line, make a line with 5.15mm long and 20 degree
downward. Then make straight line with 1.68mm long. Next make a line with 5.15mm and
20 degree upward. Lastly, make another straight line with 1.68mm long.
4. Go to the features menu and use extrude cut function to cut through all surface.
5. Go to the features menu and select linear pattern, make pattern with 6.6548 distances and
12 numbers of instances.
7. Go to the features menu and use extrude cut function to cut through 15.88mm the circle on
the block.
8. Go to left view and select features menu and use chamfer to edge 1,2,3,4 with 1.5875mm
and 45 degree.
Column
1.Make a rectangle with length 88.90mm and 24.40mm width long and go to the features
menu, select extrude boss and extrude 161.925mm long.
2. Go to sketch menu and select circle, make a circle with 14.2748mm diameter and go to
features menu, select extrude cut function and cut through 9.525mm.Next make another
circle with diameter of 9.906mm and go to features menu, select extrude cut function and cut
through all.
3. Go to features menu, select fillet and make a fillet with radius of 25.40mm at the top right
of the rectangle
4. Go to sketch menu and select circle, make a circle with 29.718mm diameter and go to
features menu, select extrude cut function and cut through 19.7104mm.
5. Next make another circle with diameter of 12.70mm and go to features menu, select
extrude cut function and cut through all.
6. Make a rectangle with 63.50mm width and 111.13mm height, then go to features menu,
select extrude cut function and cut through all.
7. Select top view, make a rectangle with length 15.88mm and 12.70mm width long then go
to features menu, select extrude cut function and cut through all.
8. Select right view, make 4 circle with diameter of 3.4544mm and go to features menu,
select extrude cut function and cut through 17.526mm.
Sleeve
3. Select the right view and sketch a circle with diameter 9.525mm
4. Go to the smart dimension and make the distance between the circle and the left line
12.7mm
5. Go to the features menu, select extrude cut to cut through all the circle
7. Go to the feature menu, select extrude cut and cut the outside of the circle

6. Select front view, sketch a circle with diameter 12.573 mm and extrude cut the outside of
the circle with 6.355mm long and make chambers at the edge of the circle with 0.762mm
x45
7. Select back view, sketch a circle with diameter 19.0246mm and extrude cut the outside of
the circle 42.4688mm long
BASE
1. Firstly, sketch the base using solid work with measurement which has been shown in
the diagram below.
2. Next, select features and using the cursor click the extruded boss/base. Set the
extruded depth to 1 inch.
3. Furthermore ,click the surface of the top view base and sketch a circle with the radius
that have been shown below .Hence , select features and using the cursor click the
extruded cut . Set the extruded depth to 1 inch.
4. Furthermore ,click the surface offside view base and sketch a circle with the radius
that have been shown below .Hence , select features and using the cursor click the
extruded cut . Set the extruded depth to 0.938 inch.
5. Finally, click the entire vertex which have cutting edge and press chamfer. Set the
measurement as shown in the diagram below.

1. Firstly, sketch the table pin using solid work with measurement which has been shown
in the diagram below.
2. Next, select features and using the cursor click the extruded boss/base . Set the
extruded depth to 1 inch.
3. Finally, click the one edge of the table pin and press chamfer. Set the measurement as
shown in the diagram below.

1. Firstly, sketch the table using solid work with measurement which has been shown in
the diagram below.
2. Next, select features and using the cursor click the extruded boss/base . Set the
extruded depth to 0.5 inch.
3. Furthermore ,click the surface of the top view table and sketch a circle with the radius
that have been shown below .Hence , select features and using the cursor click the
extruded cut . Set the extruded depth to 0.5 inch.
4. Finally, click the one edge of the table and press chamfer. Set the measurement as
shown in the diagram below.
BASE PIN
1. Firstly, sketch the table pin using solid work with measurement which has been shown
in the diagram below. Next, select features and using the cursor click the extruded
boss/base. Set the extruded depth to 0.375 inch.
2. Furthermore ,click the surface of the top view pin and sketch a circle with the radius
that have been shown below .Hence , select features and using the cursor click the
extruded boss/base . Set the extruded depth to 1.563 inch.
4. Select the mate menu and choose edge of the base and edge of the column as shown
below and press Enter.
5. Then select the bottom surface of the base and the column and press enter.
6. After that select the front surface of the column and the back surface of the column
and press enter.
7. Select the base pin end edge, the end edge of the hole at the column and press enter.
Next select the top surface of the base pin, the column surface and press enter.
8. Select the sleeve and the gear surface as shown in the picture and press Enter. Next
select the major cylinder part of the gear and the inner surface of the sleeve and press
Enter.
9. Select the surface of the gear and the inner part of the column as show in the picture
below and press Enter.
10. Select the rack hole edge and the small cylinder edge on the rack pad and press Enter.
11. Select the edge of the minor cylinder on the handle and the inner edge of the hole in
the ball handle and press Enter. Next choose the outer surface of the ball handle and
the surface of the major cylinder on the handle and press Enter. Repeat this step for the
other ball handle.
12. Select the handle with the ball handle, select the sleeve hole and press Enter. Next,
select the end of the handle and the surface of the sleeve. Then click the lock button
and press Enter.
13. Select the inner edge of the rack and the edge of the minor cylinder on rack pad and
press Enter.
14. Select the cylindrical surface of the screw, the hole of the gear and press Enter. Then
select the back surface of the screw with the surface of the column and press Enter.
15. Select the hole edge at the bottom of the table with the hole edge on top of the base
and press Enter. Next, select the bottom surface of the table and the top surface of the
base and press Enter. Finally select the bottom surface of the table and top surface of
the base, click on the lock mate and press Enter.
16. Select the back surface of the cover plate and the front surface of the column and press
Enter. Next, select the top left hole with the hole on the left side of column and press
Enter. Finally select the left side surface of the cover plate with the left side of the
column and press Enter.
17. Open the mate menu. Click on the mechanical mate, select rack pinon menu and put
the edge of the rack as rack and the surface of the gear as pinon. Then press Enter.
18. Select the advance mate and choose the top surface of the rack with the top surface of
the column. Set the distance to 60mm and the maximum value to 60mm. This will
limit the movement of the rack. Then press Enter.
Explode view
1. Select A3 paper, go to the view layout, select model view and choose
assembly file
2. Place the isometric view at the left paper and use custom scale 1:2
3. Go to the model view select exploded view file and place the exploded
view at the centre of the paper
5. Go to the model view select assembly file and make front,top and right
view and place it at the right of the paper
6. Use custom scale 1:2
