Short Story Rubric

This rubric evaluates short stories based on several categories: - Setting - How vividly the time and place of the story are described. - Characters - How clearly the main characters are named and described. - Problem/Conflict - How understandable the problem faced by the characters is. - Solution/Resolution - How logical and understandable the solution to the problem is. - Organization - How clearly one scene follows another with transitions. - Mechanics - How many grammar/spelling errors interfere with reading. - Requirements - How completely the written requirements are met. - Cover - What elements are included on the cover page.
