Steam Turbines - Force - Moment Calculation

The document outlines calculations for determining allowable forces and moments acting on steam turbines from inlet, extraction, and exhaust connections. It provides equations for: 1) The total resultant force and moment at any connection 2) The combined resultants of forces and moments from all connections 3) An additional allowed force for turbines with a vertical exhaust and unrestrained expansion joint. It specifies components for horizontal, vertical, and rotational forces and moments. The values provided relate only to the turbine structure and not connecting piping/flanges.
